We believe that companies like ours play a key role in creating sustainable development paths closely intertwined with the lives of our people and the area where they live and work. For this reason we are committed above all to reducing our environmental impact and encouraging a culture of sustainability. The actions taken to date are in keeping with the following goals:

In 2018 we installed an innovative new waste-water treatment system based on Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF).

This guarantees the highest quality and homogeneity for the treated waste water, also allowing its reuse in the processing stages, leading to benefits in terms of process control, cost reductions and energy consumption, as well as pollution abatement efficiency.

In 2014 we obtained financing from the European Fund for Sustainable Development (EFSD) for the installation of our new CHUB machine and cooling system for the packaging of our Pressure Sensitive Hot Melt Adhesives.

This impressive machine has allowed us to eliminate silicone-coated paper in favour of Free Pack packaging: a protective film which no longer needs to be disposed of by the customer as it melts together with the glue, with residue below 0.6% which does not compromise the adhesive properties.

Between 2020 and 2022 we installed four solar PV arrays on company roofs and façades, totalling 1447 modules producing 788,000 kWh/year of renewable energy, enough to cover up to 40% of the company’s energy requirements and preventing the emission of around 400 tCO2 per year.

We have always been committed to reducing the generation of waste through prevention, reduction and recycling.

This commitment is carried out at many levels: from the previously mentioned Free Pack packaging and optimisation of the secondary and tertiary packaging, through to involving employees not only in separate waste collection, but also in a plastic-free company policy, which has seen the introduction of two water purifiers which all employees can fill their company-issue aluminium water bottles from.
